When the Hyderabad police knocked on the doors of well-known film personalities Jr NTR and S.S. Rajamouli to lend their support to an elaborate campaign against cyber crime, the duo immediately gave their nod. An upcoming campaign that will warn the public about the risks of online crime, and ways to curb it is going to have the participation of both the stars. In fact, both of them recently shot videos for the same.

“Being in a position of influence, they obviously want to lend their support whenever a chance arises. Also, as celebrities with a strong online presence, they understand the risks it poses, that is why they instinctively agreed to be a part of the campaign. The videos will see the duo talking about how people should be cautious with their personal information online, and who should be approached in case of any harassment,” shares a source from the police department, who adds, “It’s quite encouraging that people from the film industry are lending support to such campaigns. A huge name being associated with a public service campaign is definitely a value addition.”
Earlier, Rajamouli had lent his support to a ‘don’t drink and drive’ campaign by the Hyderabad Traffic Police. Actor Allu Arjun was a part of the campaign too.
