Harish Shankar seeks 100 days for Ustaad Bhagat Singh?

Young director Harish Shankar, who is unwilling to compromise and wrap up a film in a hurry, has reportedly sought 100 more days from superstar Pawan Kalyan for their action film ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh,' hence getting postponed.

“Harris sought more than 100 days from Pawan Kalyan since the action film has to be shot in different locales and also demands some changes in the get ups. Besides, songs and action episodes have to be shot lavishly to give a wow experience to mega fans and general viewers alike,” says a source. Already, the film has been shot for a couple of days and the initial teaser has triggered positive response from the fans.

Right now, Pawan Kalyan allocated more dates for “OG’ with director Sujeeth and had to shoot in Mumbai with Bollywood actors. “OG has to be wrapped up by August and then Pawan will focus on 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ if AP elections are held as per schedule in April next, so Harish Shankar could get bulk dates mostly probably only next year,” the source adds.

Meanwhile, as per reports, he will be directing Ravi Teja in the remake of Hindi blockbuster ‘Raid’ featuring Ajay Devgn which revolves around real-life income tax raids in 1990’s.

Harish Shankar is known for blockbusters like 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Mirapakay' to establish himself as a commercial filmmaker.
