Looks like yet another Telugu film has been put on the backburner. After a grand launch last year, it seems Nikhil’s ambitious film, Swaasa, with Nivetha Thomas as the leading lady and to be directed by debutant Kishen Katta, has hit a roadblock.
Apart from creative differences between the actor and the production team, we hear that the film’s budget too has become a bone of contention now. Buzz is that the filmmakers have decided to halt the shoot until they get a concrete picture on the above two aspects. The film’s first look was released last year.
“Just when the whole crew was excited and geared up for a long schedule, the news of the indefinite delay in the project has got the entire unit hugely disappointment. Any chances of reviving the project look very bleak for the moment,” a source informs us.
