It was earlier reported that actor Mohan Babu has agreed to work with Madan, the director of Pellaina Kothallo for his next. And on Friday, the actor launched the film, titled Gayathri, in a private ceremony.
“The interesting storyline was a huge attraction for Mohan Babu, who felt the lead character was perfect for his age and persona,” says a source.
The film, a home production of the actor under his Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures banner, will go on to the floors pretty soon. Touted to be an intense drama, the film has music by Thaman while Sarvesh Murari is the cinematographer.
