Rashi Khanna is happy with the way her career is shaping up in Tollywood. The actress is on cloud nine after the success of her recent film Supreme, starring Sai Dharam Tej. “Wherever I go, people call me Bellam Sridevi, my character in Supreme,” says Rashi, who currently has two films in her kitty — one with Ram Pothineni and the other, opposite Gopichand.
The actress, who shot to fame with her debut Oohalu Gussa Gusa Lade, has been one of the most sought-after actresses and the success of Supreme has only added to her popularity.
“I was looking for a content-based character and rejected many films with similar roles. But now, I know that you can win the hearts of millions by acting in commercial films laden with songs, dances, action and romance,” says Rashi.
She realised his while she was at Rajahmundry. “Some of my fans told me that they wanted to see me in an ‘Oora Mass’ film. First, I didn’t understand what they were saying. Only later did I understand that they wanted me in a full commercial film,” says the actress, who promises the audience that she will fulfil their wish.
