Actor Gopichand needs a big break at this time of his career and has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming film Pantham. Directed by a debutant Chakravarthy, the film is releasing on July 5. Gopichand explains that the film revolves around a social cause although narrated in a commercial way.
Incidentally, Gopichand’s father, late T. Krishna was a popular director who created his own mark with many of his films based on social and revolutionary subjects.
“I wanted to do a film with my father’s kind of subject, and this film fulfills that desire. Pantham is based on a social cause. The film has shaped up very well, I am confident about its success,” says Gopichand while praising director Chakravarthy. “When he narrated the subject to me, I asked him to make the film in exactly the same way. He did a good job,” adds the actor.
