Actress Harshita Gaur will soon make her Telugu debut with Faluknama Das. Directed by Vishwak Sen, who also plays the lead role, the Mumbai actress will be seen as a medico in the crime drama. Talking about the film, Harshita says, “I play Sakhi, an MBBS student, she’s a spirited girl who has her values intact. She aspires to become a great doctor but what happens to her when she meets Das (played by Vishwak Sen) has been grippingly narrated.” Stating that making her acting debut in the South was a memorable experience,

Harshita explains, “I was very excited when I got the offer because working in the South means a lot — their concepts are very good, different and unusual. In fact, the South always springs a surprise with their concept of cinema. I am now looking forward to working in more films.” The actress has done quite a bit of homework to prepare for her part. “I have learnt classical dance, apart from picking up the language. Since I was new to Telugu, I tried to understand the meaning of my dialogues so that I could express myself better,” she shares.

Harshita admits that the biggest challenge has been to get the language and expressions right. “But I learned the language to overcome that hurdle,” she explains.
