We’ve been wondering why the filmmakers of Rana’s new film, Nene Raju Nene Mantri, were taking the film slowly. Turns out the producer, Suresh Babu, is planning a wider release in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam as well.
Post the success of Baahubali, Rana’s popularity is out of bounds, and the rest of the cast too is familiar in other industries. Kajal Aggarwal, Catherine Tresa, Navadeep and Ashutosh Rana play key roles in the political thriller.
“The movie is doing some phenomenal pre-release business. Also, the film’s genre is so interesting that many are keeping a tab. Rana’s reputation as an actor who chooses avant-garde roles is proving beneficial in this arena,” reveals a source in the know. Directed by Teja, the film is being jointly produced by Suresh Babu, Ch. Bharath Chowdhary and V. Kiran Reddy under Suresh Productions and Blue Planet Entertainments banners.
