Varun Tej’s fourth film, with director Srinu Vaitla, was launched in April and shooting was supposed to start in May with Lavanya Tripathi and Hebah Patel as the female leads. However, the shooting got postponed and nothing has been heard of the film since then.
Meanwhile, producer Dil Raju announced a film with Varun Tej, to be directed by Sekhar Kammula. It’s a love story revolving around a boy from USA who falls in love with a Telangana girl.
Varun Tej is more interested to start Sekhar Kammula’s film first. “There are some creative differences with Srinu Vaitla’s film, regarding the second half. The team is still working on it and the film may get postponed further,” says a source.
Varun Tej is currently holidaying in the US and once he is back, he will start Sekhar Kammula’s film, and he will have to head back to the US again!
