Samantha Akkineni has had a dream start to the year. The actress’s recent film Rangasthalam became a blockbuster and the actress, too, was appreciated for her performance in it. Now, she has some very interesting projects lined up for release and the actress is going to be right up there this year.
Her film Mahanati is up for the release next, where she is playing a journalist; her look is completely different as the story is based in the ’80s.
Also, for the first time the actress will attempt to give her own voice to the film. “I am still trying to dub in my own voice, but the process is still on,” says the actress. She is also shooting for the film U Turn, which is another woman-oriented film.
It is a remake of the Kannada hit with the same name. Samantha has also signed opposite her husband Naga Chaitanya in a film and she also has a few Tamil films lined up for release.
