Director Teja gets cold feet
Director Teja has opted out of the biopic of NTR citing the reason that he may not be able to do justice to it as it is the life history of the legendary actor NT Rama Rao. NTR’s son Balakrishna is enacting his father’s role in this biopic, which was supposed to start shooting some time back. Sources say Teja’s sudden exit is because of his fear of Balakrishna.
“There have been incidents of Balakrishna slapping his fans and getting angry with his staff. He is known for his temper. This is a prestigious film and the actor knows more about his father than the director. So, he may get upset if something goes wrong in a scene or a dialogue and it’s not easy to direct him,” says a source.
The makers are now searching for a suitable director not only to handle the subject but to handle Balakrishna as well. The makers are planning to approach senior director K. Raghavendra Rao, who knew the late NTR and is also close to Balakrishna.
