I'd do anything for Chandu sir, says Viswanth

After proving himself in Kerintha and Manamantha, actor Viswanth will commence shooting for another two films shortly in Telugu.

Young actor Viswanth has already proved his mettle as a performer with his films Kerintha and Manamantha. The former got critically acclaimed, it didnot taste commercial success, but now, the actor has moved on to his next film.

“I don’t know the calculations behind a commercial success. I want to do a different kind of cinema which tells a story. I want to do roles that suit my age and body language and not the typical commercial lead actor roles,” says Viswanth, who adds, “I got a platform to play the lead, so I am not thinking about playing character roles right now. I want to do small budget films where we can come out with different subjects.”

But the actor is willing to make an exception for director Chandrasekhar Eleti, who introduced him in Manamantha.

“I trust two people in the industry - one is Chandrasekhar sir and the other is Dil Raju. Whatever I sign and do, I share with them. I am ready to do even a cameo for them,” reveals Viswanth.

The actor is also getting offers from other industries like Tamil. “I don’t know Tamil and I am not in a hurry to do something. I first want to establish myself here and then go for other languages, that too after learning them,” he reveals.

Meanwhile, the actor has signed two Telugu films. “Both films are going to start parallelly helmed by relatively new directors,” informs Viswanth.
