Chiranjeevi or Allu Arjun, I pay them in time: Allu Aravind

Producer Allu Aravind reveals his age-old practice.

Top producer Allu Aravind says he sends the remuneration due to top actors a week before the release of a film. This is a practice he follows irrespective of the star, from Chiranjeevi to his own son Allu Arjun, he stresses.

Speaking at a media conference in connection with his latest film Ala Vaikuntapuramlo, he said when it comes to professional issues, he and Bunny (his son) are as friends. When he sends money to Arjun, the latter tells him there’s no urgency, but he insists that Arjun takes the payment as it’s a practice he has been following for many years, the producer said.

Allu Aravind revealed that Arjun watches every film in a theatre, and Ala Vaikuntapuramlo, in which he stars, was no exception. Arjun had asked him which theatre would be best, and he had suggested one. The actor had gone to that one incognito, keeping his face covered, and watched the whole movie, Aravind said, adding, when asked for his comments on the movie, Arjun had said “it’s Trivikram magic, Daddy!”

While revealing that Ala Vaikuntapuramlo had overtaken Baahubali, the producer said humbly that in his opinion his film stood second to Baahubali 2, adding that he wished another movie would beat Ala Vaikuntapuramlo’s record soon, as only then would the film industry progress.
