Cinematographer K.K. Senthil Kumar, who cranked the camera for several superhit films including Baahubali, will wield the baton for Nikhil’s next, a remake of Tamil film Kanithan, to be directed by T.N. Santhosh, who had helmed the original.
The director felt that the action-thriller includes several gripping elements that need to be showcased interestingly. So the best way was to hire a cinematographer who could elevate the visual experience.

Post Baahubali, even Senthil has been looking to be part of films high on visuals and he felt this to be a great follow up to the magnum opus.
A source says, “The pre-production is in full swing and the unit is finalising the cast and crew. The director wants to start the film at the earliest.”
