Akhil Akkineni has finally tasted success with Hello. While his much-awaited debut film Akhil slumped at the box office, his latest release is a big relief to him and father Nagarjuna, who had gone all out to give the film a massive release.
Post the film’s release, Akhil is a sight to see. There’s delight in his voice and relief in the way he speaks. Sharing that he was very low and met no one after the dud that Akhil was, he shares, “I didn’t give up! I watched Akhil over 30 times just to understand where I went wrong. I have made a huge effort to improve and I am glad it has paid off. Doing Akhil was my decision and I am solely responsible for its failure,” he shares.
While he did take a while to finalise and release his second film, it looks like he’s not set to take a break anymore. “I’d like to do films a bit more often now,” he says.
