Telugu films opened a new world to me: Nidhhi Agerwal
Nidhhi Agerwal is making her Telugu debut as a female lead in Savyasachi opposite Naga Chaitanya. “Director Chandoo Mondeti saw my Hindi film Munna Michael and approached me for this film,” says Nidhi, who hails from Bengaluru.
“I have been watching all kind of films and I am a bit familiar with Kannada, Telugu and Tamil. I was born in Hyderabad and brought up in Bengaluru. But I come here all the time and I see the posters. I am aware of Telugu cinema and I have never felt that it’s a different one. I am always looking for a good script,” she says. “Telugu films have opened a new world to me,” says Nidhhi Agerwal.
The actress considers this film a great opportunity for herself. “It was great to work with director Chandoo and he gave me a really good character to play. I am happy to debut with Savyasachi. I couldn’t ask for anything better than this,” she says.
The newcomer talks about her character, Chitra. “I play an independent working girl and there are a lot of twists and turns that involve my character. The film is a great learning experience for me,” says,” Nidhhi, who will be next seen in Akhil-starrer Mr Majnu.
