Harnath’s grandson to debut in films

Virat Raj, the grandson of handsome yesteryear star Harnath’s actor-brother Venkata Subbaraju, is all set for an acting career. He will play the lead role in Sita Manohara Sree Raghava. The excited director, Durgaa Srivatsasa, says he is thrilled to launch Virat as the lead actor.

“When I first saw him last year, I believed he’s the perfect protagonist for my film. He resembles his grandfather in looks and body language,” he says. Virat underwent an acting course under Satyanand in Vizag, he adds.

“Although the film is an action drama with gripping screenplay, the story is interspersed with several other elements,” the director adds. The breezy entertainer, which is being bankrolled by T. Sudhakar.
