Filmmaker Bheemaneni Srinivas Rao is a happy man. The recent release, Kousalya Krishnamurthy, starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Rajendra Prasad and directed by Bheemaneni, has been lauded by all and sundry. What’s more, the gripping screenplay of the sports drama has supposedly had everyone glued to the screens.
“While showing how a small town girl aspires to make it big in cricket, the story also touches upon the farmers’ plight. I think the audience connected well to the story. And I want to thank them for their appreciation,” says Bheemaneni.
The director believes Aishwarya and Rajendra Prasad excelled in their respective roles. “The casting was seamless, thanks to producer K.S. Rama Rao for supporting such message-oriented yet inspiring films. The film has a high emotional value and left everyone with moist-eyes,” he elaborates.
