Two States remake lands in legal trouble!

Shooting of the film has come to a standstill amidst buzz that there may be a change of director.

Jeevitha Rajasekhar’s daughter Shivani’s debut film Two States is in legal trouble after director Venkat Reddy recently slapped a notice on producer, M. L. V. Satyanarayana.

Featuring Adivi Sesh as the lead actor, the shooting of the film has been stalled amidst rumours that there may be a change of director to complete it. However, Venkat Reddy asserts that he has already completed 70 per cent of the film. “I bought the Hindi film’s remake rights and narrated the complete script to producer Satyanarayana along with Adivi Sesh and Shivani. Only after they agreed did I start shooting the film. 70 per cent of the film is complete and only a few days ago, the producer announced that he is completely satisfied with the output,” says Venkat Reddy, who accuses the producer of now wanting to change the script.

“The producer is under the influence of some people and asked for a few changes in the script, which I denied,” he explains while dismissing rumours surrounding the completion of the film.

“I am not only directing the film, but I am also a partner in the production. If any other director tries to complete the rema- ining part of the film, they can be punished under a court of law,” says the director, threatening to reveal names and take legal action if he is removed from the project.
