Manchu Manoj, the younger son of veteran actor Mohan Babu, has come forward to support a cause to save farmers. The actor started a foundation, Manoj Kumar’s Unity, which is going to initiate collecting funds for the development of farmers in India. After cyclone Hudhud destroyed the city of Vizag, a few years back, Manoj started the charity to help people in the beach city. Earlier too, he helped people who suffered in the Chennai floods (2015). “We should give the same importance to farmers as we do to our mothers because they are the source of our food. Due to various reasons many farmers are ending their lives. I feel this issue needs to be addressed seriously,” says Manchu Manoj, talking about his initiative. After extending a helping hand to the people of Vizag and Chennai, the actor is now saying “Save The Farmers”.
