Yet another film has backed out from the race of summer releases for the existing films which are doing well at the box office. After the deferral in the release of Nikhil Siddhartha’s Arjun Suravaram, which was reported only recently, we now hear that the release of Abhinetri 2 has also been postponed indefinitely.
The sequel to the 2016 horror-comedy Abhinetri, Abhinetri 2 stars Prabhu Deva, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Nandita Swetha, and has been directed by Kollywood’s A. L. Vijay.
Sources claim that the horror comedy won’t be releasing on May 1 as it had been initially scheduled to release, most likely because of the on-going films which are doing really well at the box office, which has led to a paucity of theatres.
