Exclusive: Mahesh Babu's SPYder climax tweaked!

Alarmed by similarities with Tamil film 'Kavan', director Murugadoss and team reworked the climax of 'SPYder'.

Mumbai: Amidst reports that Mahesh Babu’s film 'SPYder' has been postponed to August, here’s some interesting news about the spy-thriller.

Apparently, the makers of the film found out that the climax was similar to that of recently released Tamil film, 'Kavan'. Murugadoss and team immediately started working on the script in consultation with Mahesh, who was pleased with the revised version.

A source close to the unit reveals, “After the release of 'Kavan', the makers brought the matter to Mahesh Babu’s notice and they all decided to tweak the portion a wee bit. Work on it has already been completed.”

With the script now in the clear, the makers are all set to shoot the climax from the first week of May.

Mahesh will be playing the role of an intelligence officer while leading lady Rakul Preet Singh will play a medico.
