Regina Cassandra on lockdown

The 'Evaru' actress reveals that like any other person, she is also spending days doing the house chores

South actress Regina Cassandra, who has starred in multiple Telugu and Tamil films, has been making the most of the government-enforced lockdown.

“This is the first time I have got the luxury of being at home and doing whatever I like. I am making the best of the situation. I realise there are many out there who do not have the same comforts at home as I do. People who find their livelihood at stake, I am more than willing to do anything I can for them,” reveals the humble actress.

While the Evaru actress reveals that like any other person, she is also spending days doing the house chores, she has also taken this as an opportunity to watch films.

“It’s time for me to watch all the movies and series that people have been recommending for months and years. Even when I had time during my outdoor shootings to see some stuff, there would be no Wi-Fi or bad network or I would be too busy to watch them. Now is the time to do it from the comfort of my home,” says the actress.

With free time, South beauty reveals that she has learnt to observe things better. “I wake up at 6.30 am and get ready for the day. My balcony faces the East. I have hardly ever had the chance to see the sun come up from my balcony. I am soaking in the sun now, looking out my window, just thinking, seeing different species of birds,” she says.

Adding further, she has a few words of encouragement for her fans and followers in this difficult time. “We need to trust our leaders and our government. They know what’s best for us,” she says.
