After the names of actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Rajkumar Rao were bandied about for a proposed biopic on Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao, nothing seems to have materialised. Until now, when the biopic is back in the news.
The latest is that director E. Nivas is reportedly contemplating helming the biopic, which would be produced by Laxman Konatham. Interestingly, the makers have approached Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad to pen the script.
Says Vijayendra Prasad, “Yes, the filmmakers have approached me to pen the story, but it is still in the nascent stage, so it would be premature to comment at this point of time.”
With the biopic on KCR back in the reckoning, especially at a time when the state’s political scenario is hogging the limelight, looks like film buffs are in for exciting times ahead!
