In yet another interesting assignment, Jr NTR has been roped in to endorse the Telugu content for the forthcoming IPL 2018.
While Star Group owns the rights of the Indian Premiere League (IPL) for the next five years, NTR will be the brand ambassador for the coming season. The actor would be part of the IPL’s Telugu promotions, commentary and other merchandise. And for the first time ever, the Telugu commentary would be aired along with the scoreboard and other analyses.
Following the actor’s successful stint as host of their reality show Bigg Boss, the Star Group felt that Jr NTR’s following with the masses would help the Telugu content penetrate into the roots. A formal announcement is expected soon.
