As Balakrishna and Puri Jagannadh team up for the first time in their next venture, we hear the director is set to show the actor in a never-seen-before avatar of a gangster.
“His character will be that of a rough and tough guy. We have already shot for seven days and I am quite excited by how things are shaping up,” said Puri, speaking about the actor’s 101st film.
The director also revealed that a female lead has been zeroed in for the film. “A newbie, Muskaan, a find of our Puri Connects (his casting agency) will be making her debut with this film. We will reveal the names of the other female leads soon,” says Puri, adding that Charmme has been pivotal in Puri Connects and is handling the major organisational functions. She’s majorly involved in the casting of Balakrishna’s film too.
After completing the first schedule of seven days, the film’s unit will fly to Spain in April as part of their next schedule. Bhavya Creations is producing the film which will have music by Anup Rubens. It is slated for a September 29 release.
