With seasoned star Venkatesh Daggubati doing an action film ‘Saindhav’ after a long gap, the makers have reportedly spent over Rs 12 crore for action episodes alone in this revenge saga. Being directed by promising Shailesh Kolanu, the movie is a blend of action and emotion in the right measure. “Venkatesh will be flexing his muscle more often since he is on a mission in the film,” says a source and adds, “Venky participated in seven to eight action episodes including small and lengthy ones and it would be a feast for action lovers,” he adds.
Venkatesh, who showcased his flair for comedy in blockbusters like 'Malliswari' and ‘F2’, turns a vigilante for his next to showcase his fiery side. “Sailesh designed some slick action sequences and they have come out really well. Venky will be showcasing his brooding anger as he exposes the corrupt and money-fleecing medical mafia who are exploiting crores of gullible people," he points out.
Even for young director Sailesh who has tasted success with investigative cop dramas like ‘Hit 1’ and ‘Hit 2’, this movie will be the costliest film in his career. ‘With Venkatesh on board, Sailesh could spend lavishly on all aspects to dish out an action adventure with a message,” he concludes.
The scion of the Daggubati family is a game for action roles and doesn’t mind doing more of such stuff in the days to come.
