Baby, the woman from Vadisaleru village in East Godavari, is the latest vocal talent to have gone viral, with even top music director A.R. Rahaman sharing a video clip of her singing.
Without any musical training, this singer from a little-known village has caught Tollywood’s fascination. Music director Raghu gave her a chance to sing a couple of songs in his film, while composer Koti invited her to be a part of his music show. Recently, Baby even met megastar Chiranjeevi at his residence.
She is a big fan of the actor and had never imagined that she would ever get a chance to meet him. When Koti took her to Chiru’s residence, she found herself tongue-tied and in tears. An emotional Baby was calmed by Chiru and his wife Surekha. It was the actor’s wife who took the initiative of arranging to meet Baby, says a source.
The amateur singer says that she is the first woman from her village to meet Chiru, and was delighted to sing some of their favourite songs for the couple. The actor’s gesture was truly appreciated!
