Having done a handful of films in Tamil and English, Pooja Kumar is glad that her Telugu debut Gaurda Vega has done well at the box office. So what does this success mean to her?
“It proves that if you have good content the audiences are always ready to appreciate it in any language,” she replies, adding, “When I was given the narration, I knew the script had the potential to become a box office winner. I’m glad that I stand vindicated now. It’s a great team effort. I have also been getting several offers now.”
The former Miss India USA says that she’s still single. “I have been constantly working and I haven’t found the right guy (laughs). But I still believe in the institution of marriage, so hopefully I might find the right guy.”
The actress has no qualms about playing a mother. “Such a character requires a lot of emotion and it is very challenging. Also, I look at versatility in a role.”
