Another actress from the north is all set for a Telugu debut and this time it is a former basketball player named Prachi Tehlan. She will be playing the female lead opposite Amanpreet Singh, brother of popular actress Rakul Preet Singh. A debut vehicle for both Prachi and Amanpreet, the film will be helmed by director Srikrishna Gorle.
Prachi is a netball and basketball player and has represented India in the Commonwealth Games and other major Asian championships in 2010-11. She will be also making her debut in Malayalam opposite Mammootty.

Prachi has also acted in a few television shows, like Diya Aur Baati Hum and Ikyawann. With the film's shoot underway, the actress is excited about her projects down south. Though she has also acted in a few Punjabi movies, she is now keen on doing more work in South.
