Yet another comedian turns lead actor. Shakalaka Shankar, who became popular on television with the Jabardust show and later turned into one of the busiest comedians of Tollywood, is playing lead actor in a film titled Driver Ramudu, directed by Raj Satya.
Interestingly, the title of this film is very popular as the late N.T. Rama Rao had delivered a blockbuster hit with it. Now, Shankar is using the same title for his film.
“I got an overwhelming response for my NTR-lookalike get-up. I am thrilled and confident that people will encourage me as a lead actor too,” says Shankar.
Director Raj Satya assures that the film has the Shakalaka Shankar brand of comedy and also emotional scenes. “It’s going to be a non-stop entertainer with an interesting story,” says Raj.
