In general, comedians and side actors in Tollywood get their remuneration on a daily basis. Among the comedians, Brahmanandam currently tops the list with a daily charge of Rs 5 lakh. Interestingly, if one of their films becomes a hit, most comedians hike their price steeply but not Vennela Kishore.
Despite being one of the top comedy stars, he has not hiked his charges even after Ami Tumi became a hit. And this news has come to everyone’s surprise! “He is taking one lakh per day since a long time and he wants to continue with the same, even though he is the most sought after comedian,” says a source close to the actor.
Notably, Kishore has been working without taking a break. The actor recently completed director Sriwass’ film at Pollachi and then travelled to Hyderabad for Pawan Kalyan’s film. After that, he went to Guntur for Naga Shourya’s film and returned to Hyderabad only to begin shooting for Saaho with Prabhas.
