Naga Chaitanya's mannerisms are similar to Nagarjuna, says Lavanya Tripathi

Lavanya Tripathi’s forthcoming film Yuddham Sharanam, directed by Krishna Marimuthu, will see her in the role of an intern. Paired opposite Naga Chaitanya, the actress reveals that her role is meaty.

Talking about her character, she shares, “I play an intern and it’s a performance-oriented character. I ably support the protagonist (Naga Chaitanya) in his quest. Our onscreen chemistry will be one of the talking points post the release. The film is a mix of family drama and a love story.”

Having worked with Nagarjuna in her earlier film Soggade Chinni Nayana, Lavanya feels there are several things in common between father and son. “Both are well-spoken, sweet and carry a similar body language in real life. Chay has a great sense of humour and we try to pull each other’s leg every time,” she reveals. The Radha actress opines that Sam and Chay make for a great couple. “Samantha dropped in on the sets a few times and I always tell Chay that they make a cute pair.”
