Although Akhil Akkineni’s new film, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by Bunny Vasu, was launched more than a month ago, but the shoot is yet to commence.
According to a source, the makers are still searching for a suitable female lead to romance Akhil.
“Many of the young actresses like Rashmika are busy with other projects. So the makers thought of introducing a new face opposite Akhil, and are searching for the right lead,” says the source, adding that shooting will start once the lead actress is selected. Given that Akhil has youthful looks, they want a young face in this film.
“It’s a romantic entertainer with a family backdrop, and in most of Bommarillu Bhaskar’s films, the lead actress has a lot of scope to perform, so they are looking for a girl who can do good on the screen,” adds the source.
