Action king Arjun, who is popular amongst the Telugu, Tamil and Kannada cinema audiences, is gearing up for his 150th film, Kurukshetram. “I didn’t realise that this would be a milestone film when I signed it! Only while shooting did I realise,” he says.
“I didn’t want to do this film initially, but after the director’s narration, I said yes,” he shares, adding, “I acted as a cop in nearly 30 films but this film shows me in a completely new avatar. The director is portraying me in a way that wasn’t seen in any of my earlier films,” shares the actor.
Elaborating on his role in the film, he reveals, “In every police officer’s life, there is a story that no one knows, and this film is all about that,” he says. Directed by Arun, the film also has actor Prasanna Kumar (actress Sneha’s husband) playing a key role. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is the female lead.
