Actor Ravi Teja seems to look at the pay cheque first and then listen to the script! Or perhaps not bother about the script at all. His recent film Nela Ticket has been getting very negative reviews and according to a source, it’s not just Ravi Teja but all the other actors too seem to have agreed to act in this film “just for money.”
Directed by Kalyan Krishna, the film deals with an outdated subject. It really tests the viewer’s patience. Ravi Teja has been paid Rs 12 crore, highest in his career so far. Jagapathi Babu too was paid nearly Rs 3 crore, we are told.
Ram Talluri, an NRI businessman, put a lot of money on this film — not realising a film of this standard needn’t have crossed a budget of Rs 25 crore!
The director took more than three years to write the script and after many rejected it — since it was an uninspiring story — he approached Ravi Teja, who then readily agreed to do this film.
