Popular television anchor, Rashmi Gautam, who has gained popularity on the big screen with the film Guntur Talkies, has signed up for a comedy film. According to a source, the Jabardast anchor is playing a major role in an untitled film directed by ETV Prabhakar. Aadi is playing the lead in this entertainer. “The film is touted to be a comedy and is shaping up very well,” says a source from the unit. After an adult comedy and a horror film, Rashmi is working on a comic drama, which will definitely give another good break for her. Two leading production houses, UV Creations and Geetha Arts are jointly producing the film. “Allu Sirish was supposed to star in the film earlier, but on second thoughts Aadi replaced him,” added the source.
