Music composer Mani Sharma is back to his busy days with several films this year. He is also working for the first time with senior director Vamsy for the film, Fashion Designer, S/o Ladies Tailor. “I have worked with nearly 70 to 80 directors, but never got a chance to work with Vamsy garu. It’s my dream to work with him and it finally came true,” says Mani Sharma.
The composer reveals that sometimes surprising things happen in Tollywood, and this film is one of them. “It is always better to wait for a good surprise instead of thinking about it,” he says. He added that he has never met the director earlier. “I met him for first time for this film," he says.
This is a sequel to Ladies Tailor, for which, Ilayaraja gave the music. “I will definitely make Ilayaraja garu proud with my music in this film,” says Mani, when asked about the comparison to the first one. He added that all songs are melodious. For most of Vamsy’s films, music is the soul. “I took it as a challenge and worked towards giving good music that suits Vamsy’s taste,” he says. Mani is also busy with three other projects including Samanthakamani, Nithiin’s upcoming film, another one with filmmaker Indraganti Mohankrishna.
