It looks like the producer Suresh Babu has resolved to support low-budget content-rich films. While he is certainly involved in the production of some of these films, he has also taken charge of the distribution of several films as he owns a number of theatres. “Despite good content, many small films fail to land a good release and therefore, Suresh Babu has resolved to encourage such projects,” said a source.
Other than his productions O Baby and Venky Mama, Suresh Babu is also facilitating the release of a number of films like Falaknuma Das, Dorasaani, Brochevarevarura, Mallesam, and ABCD. Additionally, he has another six to seven films in the pipeline. “After the success of C/o Kancharapalem, he realised that low-budget films with good content have enormous potential to perform if promoted well,” the source added.
