Actor Navdeep is in the news for the wrong reasons. It was reported that cops had raided his farmhouse at Chakrampalem, Ranga Reddy district on Friday night.
Says an angry Navdeep, “First of all, I don’t have a farmhouse. I went to a house-warming function along with my mother. There were 30 to 40 families for a dinner in a gated farmhouse. My friends are partners in farmhouse projects and I left by 9.30 with my mother.”
On Saturday morning he woke up to news on television channels that cops had raided his farmhouse. “It was not a rave party. It was a family party where men, women and kids attended. The owners of these farmhouses had held a get-together on Friday night.
I was shocked because many families attended and secondly, they reported that it was my farmhouse, which is not true,” says the actor. “How can anyone report without checking the facts?” he asks.
“My mother was with me and I left with her. If she was not with me last night, she would have believed the news and cried,” he adds. Villagers might have recognised Navdeep as he is a known actor.
The media immediately reported that it was Navdeep’s farmhouse and some went ahead and stated that he even absconded from the scene. The actor now wants to send legal notices to those who aired the news. “Because it’s totally wrong news and utter nonsense,” says the actor.
In the past too the actor was in the news for the wrong reasons. “Just because I have done do some mistakes in the past, you will link everything to me?” he asks. Actor Brahmaji too attended the dinner.
“News about @pnavdeep26 is utterly baseless. I was there with my family too. It's a farmhouse party with kids n families,” tweeted Brahmaji.
