Nag Ashwin to direct Prabhas’s 21st film

It’s official! One of the big production houses in Telugu cinema, Vyjaya-nthi Movies, owned by producer C. Ashwini Dutt, has announced that it will be producing a high-budget film with none other than Prabhas.

Ashwini Dutt’s son-in-law, director Nag Ashwin, will be directing the film. Nag Ashwin had earlier directed super-successful and well-appreciated films like Yevade Subramanyam and Mahanati. Though the makers haven’t announced the details of Prabhas21, the actor’s team has said on Twitter that it’s a pan Indian film, with a budget of nearly ` 400 crore. It will be released in 2023.

“Prabhas is known as a pan-Indian actor, so Nag Ashwin has prepared a story to suit all languages,” says a source.
