Parul Yadav, the popular Kannada actress who acted in the Telugu-Kannada film Killing Veerappan, was attacked by stray dogs in Mumbai on Monday evening. “She took her dog for an evening walk and suddenly, four stray dogs attacked her and her dog. She tried to save her dog but got badly injured. By God’s grace, she covered her face and mostly injured her legs and head,” informed Parul’s elder sister.

She added that they took her to the hospital immediately. “She is out of danger and her condition is stable, but she has to stay in the hospital for another two to three days. The surgery was done on Wednesday and she is recovering well,” she informed.

The actress lives in Mumbai with her mother and flies to Bangalore whenever a shoot happens. She recently landed in Mumbai after a hectic schedule of her Kannada film in Dubai.

Parul had to shoot for two Kannada films next month. “She was supposed to attend the shoot of one film next week, but now, she is not able to shoot with the bandages,” says her sister.

Her recent film, Killing Veerappan directed by Ram Gopal Varma released in Telugu and was successful. Her other film Jessie was a super hit in Kannada and is all set to release in Telugu too. The actress has also signed the Kannada remake of Hindi film Queen, where she is enacting Kangana’s role.
