Chiranjeevi's dream role!
Chiru’s comeback film Khaidi No.150 created all sorts of records at the box-office, proving that his charm is still at its peak. With that boost and confidence, the actor is now concentrating on his next film. Though he is getting a couple of subjects ready, he is showing more interest to do a film on the freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy.
“This is Chiranjeevi’s dream role for the last few years. Now that he has the chance, he wants to complete it,” says a source close to the actor.
In an earlier interview, the actor informed that the Paruchuri brothers had already completed the script work of the subject. Surender Reddy, who directed Ram Charan’s Dhruva is going to direct this historic film.
“The actor met the Paruchuri brothers and director Surender Reddy a couple of days back to discuss the film. They may come to a final decision in a few days,” adds the source. The shoot of the period drama will start in March or April as it needs some pre-production work.
