A1 is high on emotions: Sundeep Kishan

Apparently, the actor has hired a physiotherapist, nutritionist and a professional hockey player to train the cast.

Sundeep Kishan’s forthcoming film, A1, also happens to be his first sports-based film. And although it is based on hockey, the actor states that the breezy entertainer has an emotional angle too.

“There’s a lot of soul to the script and the drama that unfolds makes for an emotional ride,” explains Sundeep, adding that A1 requires him to be physically fit as well.

Apparently, the actor has hired a physiotherapist, nutritionist and a professional hockey player to train the cast. “Around eight actors will receive training in hockey from professionals for two weeks in January. So we have hired dieticians and physiotherapists to ensure that they are fit and ready for the shoot towards the end of January,” reveals the actor.

As for the challenge of engaging the audience in a sport that they aren’t very familiar with, he explains, “Telugu films based on kabaddi and boxing have become huge successes, although most of the audience haven’t watched anything live; so the key is to weave a story where sports is an integral part of the script, like in A1.
