Finding the leading lady for comedian actors like Sunil isn’t an easy task. It is a known fact that the actress who have been paired opposite Sunil don’t grow in their careers and end up doing smaller films. Now, N Shankar is making a film with the actor, a remake of the Malayalam hit Two Countries.
While the film was officially launched some time back, the makers are still searching for the female lead. “They approached the regular actresses but no one agreed. Then they opted for a Tamil actress to be introduced in Telugu, but she hasn’t confirmed yet,” says a source. Once the lead actress is finalised, the film will go on the floors. In the past, lead actress like Isha Chawla, Richa Panai, Nikki Gilrani, Dimple Chopade, Esther and a few others didn’t make it big after being paired with him. Some of them didn’t even get their next film.
