Megastar Chiranjeevi and superstar Mahesh Babu attended the engagement function of Havya Vahini, second daughter of actor Venkatesh Daggubati, in Vijayawada on October 25. Their kin Naga Chaitanya also graced the event along with other celebrities. Rana Daggubati was receiving the guests and overseeing things at the venue. “Venkatesh shares a good rapport with all stars in Tollywood. He is quite friendly and jovial. He is close to Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu who attended the event along with others,” says a source.
The bride groom is a doctor and hails from a family of physicians in Vijayawada and the marriage is going to be held in a grand manner in March, 2024. “Venkatesh has always been away from social media and also likes to keep his family away from the glare of media. It was a private event and only a select guest list attended it,” the source adds. However, a few pictures from the big event have gone viral and drew the attention of fans of the Daggubati family.
On the work front, Venkatesh is awaiting the release of his 75th film ‘Saindhav’ wherein he showcases his fiery side. He is known for his lover boy and family hero roles in films like ‘Kalisumdam Raa’, “Malliswari’ and ‘Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule’ to carve a niche for himself in Tollywood.
After a break, he is doing a full-fledged action film revolving around the medical mafia and he is working with national award winner Nawazuddin Siddique in this movie.
