Sukumar recently attended the Savyasachi trailer launch as the chief guest. The film features actor Naga Chaitanya as the lead. Sukumar praised the team, actor Chaitanya and director Chandoo Mondeti for coming up with an interesting subject.
Sukumar had earlier directed Naga Chaitanya in the film 100% Love, which went on to be a big success for both of them. “Me and Naga Chaitanya used to meet after that film. But now he does not meet me because Samantha has come into his life and he now gives me only 99 per cent of his love,” said a jocular Sukumar.
The top director commended Chaitanya’s efforts in the film after watching the trailer. Naga Chaitanya too said that he always remembers Sukumar for giving him such a big hit in the early days of his career. He added that Savyasachi is the ‘biggest’ project of his career as many top technicians have worked on it.
“Mythri Movie Makers, the producers, roped in top people like Keeravani, Madhavan, Bhumika, Yuvaraj and others for this film, and I had never imagined that this film would be on such a big scale. I worked with Chandoo for my earlier film Premam and I am happy to be working with him again on this film,” says Naga Chaitanya.
