Puri Jagannadh is introducing his son Puri Akash as a lead actor in Tollywood with Mehbooba which is being shot in Himachal Pradesh. The director, who, with his films, has created ample mass appeal for the likes of Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and Ravi Teja in the past, is now working hard for his son, Akash’s debut as well.
“It’s been long since he delivered a good, romantic movie. But it seems he has kept his best for his son. Whoever has seen rushes of the film feels that not only is the director back on track but is also likely to turn his son into a star,” says a source.
Akash, before his debut film, worked as an assistant director on few of his father’s films and also acted in the film Andhra Pori as a teen actor.
Interestingly, Charmme Kaur is taking care of the entire production work for this film.
