Comedian Saptagiri came into the limelight with Prema Katha Chitram and Venkatadri Express. Though he has worked in several films after these two successful films, this year he has slowed down a bit, as he is playing a lead actor in the film, Saptagiri Express and concentrating on it. Previously, comedians like Brahmanandam, Ali, Venu Madhav and Sunil did the same, but they could shine only in a few films. Even though they are top comedians, they could not make it big as lead actors. While Ali and Brahmanandam continue to act in regular films as comedians, some, like Sunil are now struggling. Saptagiri is following the footsteps of his predecessors and his fate depends on the success of this film. Only time will tell if he can continue as lead actor or if he will have to settle for regular comic roles.
