In an engrossing episode watched by millions on Sunday night, actor Siva Balaji was announced as the winner of the first season of Bigg Boss Telugu. He won the prize money of Rs 50 lakh. The actor had a tough competition from Aadarsh Balakrishna, Hari Teja, Archana and Navdeep, but he emerged to be public’s favourite with maximum number of votes.
While Archana was the first among the top five contestants to leave the show, Navdeep and Hari Teja followed. Aadarsh Balakrishna was announced as the runner-up.
The finale of Bigg Boss Telugu was a grand affair with Devi Sri Prasad performing on Jr NTR’s songs from Jai Lava Kusa.
Almost all of the evicted contestants made an appearance in the final episode. A whopping Rs 11.95 crore votes were registered for the last episode.
